We often talk about how we should stay safe in and out of school.  For example, strangers, crossing roads, in the park, walking to shops or friends house or using the internet. What are the dangers? What should we do to keep safe?

What do you know about our local area?  What evidence is there to help us understand the history of our area?  What would you like to know?  How can you find out?

Let’s share how we feel about next September. Y6 are moving on to Lacon Childe and others are moving up a year group. Describe how you feel. Try to use adjectives, adverbs, similes, metaphors and personification. Always re-read your sentences.  Check you have capital letters and correct punctuation.

We would love to hear about where you have been as part of a school visit, on a family holiday/days out near and far. Where did you go? What did you learn/see?  What did you do? How far away was the place? How long did it take to travel?
