WOW! yesterday Y5/6 boys football matches were amazing to watch. Our team won every match! Our lads played as a team, it was beautiful to watch such a professional team at work. I stood on the side over hearing other schools commenting on our teams skills and effort. WELL DONE LADS. I’m so proud of you. Thank you to Mr Neville for organising this event and giving up an evening to be with us. I want to thank the parents who escorted the team to and from the event, without parents good will it would be impossible for our school to take part. BW
When the football team played I feel sorry for Joe who diddn’t get a touch in goal!!
hi Harrison – we won all our matches – we had a good team who kept the ball away from our goals. I know what you mean though, Joe didnt get a chance to play football. When I see Mrs Neville I will suggest the goalie is changed around so everyone has a go playing football. By the way Harrison I was serious today about tea. I never joke about my cups of tea!!! On Monday will you make me a cup of tea?

WOW! I have just returned from the girls football match over at Shrewsbury Sports Village. Our team won and are through to the next stage. WELL DONE LADIES! More information to follow but for now a big THANK YOU to all the parents/grandparents who helped with transportation. We are not able to offer such events without the fantastic support of our parents. Thank you Mr Neville, we are so lucky to have such dedicated staff like you. Giving up your evenings, sooooooooooooo worthwhile. The enjoyment and pride on our team’s faces was priceless, I’m so glad I was there to see it. Our boys football team have a match next Wednesday. yesterday we played against Stotteston Sequins and it was 6-3 and we are called Shooting stars.
The netball girls from Cleobury were brilliant last Monday especially considering it was their first match. They forgot to mention they WON 6-3 with goals from Amy Chesterman, Elly Pearce and Lauren Evans ( who is now the top goal scorer so far in the league!). The team consistes of Maddy Meredith, Cerys Rowles, Elly Pearce, Carys Cochane, Lauren Cochane, Lauren Evans and Becky Campion.
WOW! WELL DONE NETBALL TEAM. Come and tell me all about it on Monday.

Netball Update – Cleobury Shooting Stars are improving their game really well despite playing some really good teams. Maddy in Y2 is getting lots of confidence and all the girls are showing great improvement and enthusiasm – especially since we did training in the rain last night! Well done to Maddy Meredith, Cerys Rowles, Carys Cockayne, Ellie Pearce, Lauren Evans, Lauren Cockayne, Becky Campion and Amy Chesterman.
Well Done Cleobury A-Z. Cleobury A-Z came joint third in Division Two of the Football league at Cleobury Sports Hall. This is an under 11s league and our players are all from Y3 and Y2 so this is an excellent result. Well Done to Jonty Monk ( our fantastic goalkeeper), Kieran Mayall, Samuel Cooper, Evan Rowles and Matt Lloyd.
The Cleobury boy’s all stars juniors how are year 4 are in the under tens and in the under 8′s we did’nt lose a game then but now because we are in two leages above it is much harder but we are still winning and losing but that is what life is about, COME ON CLEOBURY WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When it was the girlz footie , i was in goal an dit was really , really fun + all the girlz tried there best, and they played brilliant!!!

The hockey was great, I had lots of fun.
Is Mr Nevil going to start a hockey club? I’m sure lots of people would join, including me.
The football last night was fantastic I think Harrison.D has some bragging rights over his cousin beacause we beat them 3-0 Ivory Coast all the way!
We would like to congratulate the Y5/Y6 football team, well done boys every one is very proud of you. Reon and Oren are really excited about the thought of watching you all at Wembley!
there is a good change we will get to the semi finals in Bradford but i dont think we will go to wembly but we will try are best for everyone at school
